USA: Symposium om grundläggande matematikundervisning

För ett år sedan samlades i USA en grupp ledande experter inom matematikutbildningsområdet för att diskutera och utbyta tankar om information, forskning och idéer  om undervisning och lärande i matematik.

I symposiet medverkade bl a Jeremy Kilpatrick, Doug Clements, Hung-Hsi Wu, Peter Hilton, Steve Willoughby, Joseph Conaty (U.S. Dept. of Education), U.S. Rep. George Miller (Senior Democrat, Education and the Work Force, and a key architect of NCLB), James Daly (Editor in Chief, EduTopia magazine).
